The Department of Management at Moulvibazar Government Women’s College is driven by a clear vision, mission, and objective to foster academic excellence, personal growth, and professional competence among its students. Guided by the vision of empowering women through modern and quality business education, the department’s mission is to cultivate leadership qualities, innovative thinking, and ethical business values. Its primary objective is to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to navigate the challenges of the modern corporate world. At the Higher Secondary (HSC) level, the department accommodates 450 seats in the Business Studies group and offers two core subjects: Business Organization & Management and Production Management & Marketing, which lay a strong foundational understanding of the business landscape. Expanding its academic horizons, the Honours program was introduced in the 2014-15 session with an intake capacity of 100 seats. Since its inception, the department has been operating with a stellar reputation, successfully grooming students to become future leaders, dynamic entrepreneurs, and highly capable professionals ready to contribute to the corporate world. Additionally, the department efficiently conducts teaching and academic activities for management-related courses under the BBS Degree (Pass) program, which features an intake of 50 seats. Currently, a total of 1,350 students are pursuing their education under this department across the HSC, Honours, and BBS levels. Through its comprehensive curriculum and dedicated mentorship, the Department of Management continues to play a pivotal role in shaping the business leaders of tomorrow.
