Department of History

History is a very important department of Moulvibazar Government Women's College. This department is very popular with the students. This subject is in the first choice list in both Higher Secondary and B.A. (Hons.) classes. Honors course has been started in this department since the academic year 2014-2015. There are 100 seats in this subject in the first year of Honors. And the process of starting a Master's course is underway. The students of this department are building a better career by achieving good results every year. They are increasing the reputation of the college by participating in various co-curricular activities including literature, culture, sports. There are 3 created posts in this department. The currently working teachers are: Mr. Rawshan Ara (29th BCS), Assistant Professor; Mr. Palash Chakraborty (34th BCS), Assistant Professor; Mr. Bayezid Hasan (40th BCS), Lecturer.
